The party also postpones its congress to August to free up Johor and Negeri Sembilan divisions for election preparations.

PKR information chief Fahmi Fadzil said the appointments were made at the party’s political bureau and central leadership council monthly meeting in Batu Pahat, Johor, on Saturday.
“This is to strengthen and streamline the party’s organisation and operations at the central level,” he said in a statement.
Saifuddin was previously PKR secretary-general, while Zaliha is currently Johor PKR chairman. They join Roland Engan as the three appointed vice-presidents.
The four elected vice-presidents are Amirudin Shari, R Ramanan, Aminuddin Harun and Chang Lih Kang.
Fahmi also said PKR has postponed its party congress in Melaka from June 26-28 to Aug 14-16, to allow its Johor and Negeri Sembilan chapters to focus on election preparations.
The venue remains the Melaka International Trade Centre in Ayer Keroh. - FMT
