The Selangor menteri besar says the state government is finalising the land acquisition for the project.

“We have identified the site, with costs currently being negotiated for two selected locations. We will start with the more accessible site in Taman Medan, as it is located in a densely populated area.
“This development is expected to greatly benefit the residents of Puchong, Jalan Klang Lama and the Subang area,” Bernama reported him as saying at the Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah building in Shah Alam today.
Amirudin said the health ministry also confirmed the Petaling Jaya Selatan area, which includes Taman Medan, as a more strategic location for a new hospital compared with the alternative site in SS8, Kelana Jaya.
He said all matters related to the hospital’s design and development would be fully managed by the health ministry. - FMT
