Your plan won't succeed – Annuar tells 'Dr M worshippers' Rafidah, Rais

Umno information chief Annuar Musa claimed that former ministers Rafidah Aziz and Rais Yatim might have an ulterior motive with regard to their critical views of the government and 1MDB.
Referring to Dr Mahathir Mohamad, the veteran politician also accused the duo of still worshipping their former boss.
“From their complaints, it is clear they are out of touch with the administration and government.
“They also appear to be still tied to worshipping personalities - their old boss, who is also my old boss,” he was quoted as saying by Sinar Harian today.
Annuar said this is perhaps part of Mahathir's media team plan ahead of the 14th general election.
However, the Umno supreme council member claimed that the motive of the two former ministers was discovered a long time ago and their strategy would not be successful.
“Not only is their motive not as sincere as they claim it is, but also their 'outdated' status and lack of a locus standi render their statements not credible, in fact as if having an ulterior motive.
“What more when they have a record of often burning bridges,” he added.
Annuar then put forth five questions to Rafidah and Rais:
“Prior to this, when some were busy defending their cronies, families, wives, husbands and children, where was your stand?
“Prior to this, when some sold the (Umno) struggle to 'Malaysian Malaysia' DAP, where were you?
“Prior to this, when there were those who accused others of being a robber and thief without an iota of proof, where were you?
“Prior to this, when the syariah court and Islam were belittled and religious issues were not defended, where were your voices?
“And now, amid all the hypocrisy, U-turns, where were you?” he asked.
Annuar stressed that those who struggle for a cause should do so on principles and not because of a personality cult or feelings of nostalgia over an old legacy.
He said they should prioritise the interests of the many and not of one individual. -Mkini
