PETALING JAYA: Wanita Umno chief Tan Sri Shahrizat Abdul Jalil says that she will not accept an offer to contest in the Bandar Tun Razak parliament seat.
There had been speculation that Shahrizat would be fielded as Barisan Nasional’s candidate for the seat.
“Many have asked me whether I will accept an offer to contest in the Bandar Tun Razak Parliament seat.
“My reply is no, although it is a constituency where Barisan can win and where it can defeat PKR,” Shahrizat said in a posting on her Facebook page.
