ALL EMPLOYERS, ON 9TH MAY 2018 GIVE TIME OFF TO YOUR EMPLOYEES TO VOTE

Well, I think the use of the word HARTAL is just to dramatise the event, a little bit of emotional appeal. 

We do not have to be too emotional.  Or too dramatic.

But I hope all PRIVATE SECTOR, GLC and PUBLIC SECTOR employers will give time off for their employees to go and vote on 9th May, 2018.

Allow your employees to take leave (if necessary) so that they can go home to their hometowns and home States to vote.

I hope the Malaysian Employers Federation (MEF), the Malaysian Manufacturers Federation (MMF), CUEPACS and other employers and workers associations and unions will take note of this important matter. 

The Media should also help.  

Get the voters out in FULL FORCE to VOTE on 9/5/2018.

Finally,  I just received this picture by WhatsApp.    I believe this is genuine. 

An employee is applying for leave on polling day 9/5/2018.     He states the reason for the leave application as :  "TO SAVE MY COUNTRY". 

This is the general feeling across the country.  UMNO / BN are dead.
