I Told You So. Its Dissolved. Tun Dr Mahathir Gives Stern Warning To AG, IGP, MACC, Armed Forces Chief, LHDN.

First of all I told you so - that Parliament will be dissolved on 6th April, 2018. The actual date is tomorrow but today is the last day of the sitting gomen.

Looking worried, frightened and panicky. This is the last time 
these morons will stand before us again. You can see the fear on their faces.

After today and until a new government is elected (within a maximum 60 days) the present goverment does not exist anymore. It is merely a caretaker government. A caretaker government cannot or should not make policy anymore. The KSN and the KSUs will be running the gomen's affairs for the next 60 days (max).

I attended a Press Conference at noon today by Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamed. As usual the questions from our Press boys and girls were lack lustre and boring. I really hope our Press would be more informed and articulate. 

Anyway Tun Dr Mahathir spoke at length about the IGP, the AG, the MACC, the Chief of the Armed Forces and the LHDN (Income Tax dept).

Tun Dr Mahathir's concern (and he said he is willing to be charged in Court over this) is that the PM has broken the barriers governing the separation of powers in a democratic system. Tun Dr Mahathir made no bones that some of the top Civil Servants and holders of public posts were also in cahoots with the PM.

Tun Dr Mahathir mentioned again that the Chief of the Armed Forces (some stupid general) should never have said that he was loyal to the government and to the PM.  The loyalty of the entire Armed Forces, including its chief is to the King and country. Country means the people of this country. Not just to the coconut trees behind his parents' house. 

The Government and the PM are appointed by the YDP Agong.  He can appoint and dismiss the PM and the government of the day.  The Agong also appoints the Armed Forces Chief, not the PM. Therefore loyalty is to the Agong first.  Somehow the Armed Forces Chief seems a little blur about the Constitutional provisions.

Tun Dr Mahathir also said that the IGP was wrong when he said that Jo Lo had nothing to do with 1MDB. The IGP was speaking within the sanitised and carefully controlled non-actions against the 1MDB case in Malaysia. For example the AG has pronounced that there is no case to answer.  If the AG says there is no case to answer, then there is nothing else. 

But Tun Dr Mahathir pointed out that overseas, other countries have investigated and prosecuted 1MDB related cases. Those investigations undertaken by other countries shows irrefutable evidence that crimes have been committed linked to 1MDB. They cannot all be wrong all together at the same time. It is obvious then that laws are not being fully upheld in Malaysia.

My view is the thrust of Tun Dr Mahathir's Press Statements today was to warn the Civil Servants NOT to be in cahoots with the crooks.
