PPBM will be contesting in six parliamentary and nine state seats.
TEMERLOH: PPBM today announced its candidate list for Pahang for the coming general election (GE14).
The party will be contesting in six parliamentary seats and nine state seats.
The six parliamentary seats are Kuala Lipis, Jerantut, Paya Besar, Pekan, Maran and Kuala Krau while the nine state seats are Kemayan, Padang Tengku, Tahan, Bebar, Chenor, Jenderak, Peramu Jaya, Bukit Ibam and Muadzam Shah.
Pahang PPBM chief Wan Mohd Shahrir Abdul Jalil will be contesting in Jerantut, national PPBM exco youth member Ashraf Mustaqim Badrul Munir will be contesting in Paya Besar, Indera Mahkota PPBM chief Kamarul Ariffin Mohd Shahar will be contesting in Pekan (where Prime Minister Najib Razak is the incumbent), Lipis PPBM deputy chief Ahmad Pozi Yahaya will be contesting in Lipis, Mohamad Rafidee Hassim will be contesting in Kuala Krau, and Ahmad Farid Nordin in Maran.
Pahang PPBM information chief Osman Abu Bakar, who is a former principal at a school in Rompin, will be contesting in Muadzam Shah, Pahang PPBM women’s chief Zuliana Mohamed will be contesting in Chenor, Pahang PPBM deputy chief Salim Abdul Majid will be contesting in Peramu Jaya, Kuantan PPBM vice-chairman Afif Syirol Abdul Rahman will be contesting in Bebar, Nordin Samat will be contesting in Tahan, Mohamed Jidi Yaakob will be contesting in Kemayan, Alias Abdul Rahman will be contesting in Padang Tengku, Zulkarnain Mohamad Ridzuan will be contesting in Bukit Ibam, and Faziah Baharom will be contesting in Jenderak.
As had been agreed earlier this month, all Pakatan Harapan component parties will be contesting using PKR’s logo. - FMT
