PETALING JAYA – Ampang PKR Youth chief Adam Rosly, who was previously accused of graft, has denied that he is working for the Housing and Local Government Ministry (KPKT), under minister and Ampang MP, Zuraida Kamaruddin.
Following viral photos of him with KPKT officers at Taman Industri Lembah Jaya flats, Adam clarified that he was there as part of the management body and not involved with the ministry.
“I have stated clearly that I am with the officers from the ministry. They were discussing repairs to the water tank. I am part of the flat’s management, that is why I was there.
“The officers were conducting a site visit and discussing maintenance [of the flat]. As the manager, I have to be there. Did I say I was part of the ministry?” he told Malay Mail when contacted.
On his Facebook page, Adam posted several photos of himself, along with several KPKT officials, conducting a work visit at a low-cost flat, prompting online speculation of his supposed involvement with the ministry and possible cronyism due to his links with Zuraida.

Adam has since deleted the photos and replaced them with his explanation.
Malay Mail has contacted Zuraida for her comments but has yet to receive a reply.
Adam was the subject of a Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) investigation last year for his unverified wealth.
Subsequently, he was sentenced last month to six months’ imprisonment and slapped with a RM30,000 fine for furnishing false statements and documents to the MACC during a probe into his wealth.
Adam was also accused of using falsified documents comprising two loan agreements with two individuals, and two cash vouchers from his company, Gegas Mentari Holding Sdn Bhd, with the intention of misleading MACC investigating officers.
