NGO Ummah is organising a rally outside the Shah Alam Court Complex tomorrow morning, in conjunction with the Coroner's Court verdict into the death of firefighter Muhammad Adib Mohd Kassim.
A poster for the gathering says it will start at 9am.
Meanwhile, PAS Youth will also be present at the court tomorrow and have alerted the media that they will hold a press conference right after the inquest's findings are announced.
The Coroner's Court concluded the inquest into Adib's death on July 24 after a total of 30 witnesses were called in the 41-day hearing.
Adib died at the National Heart Institute on Dec 17, 2018, after succumbing to injuries sustained during riots near the Seafield Sri Maha Mariamman Temple in Subang Jaya about a month earlier.
The inquest was ordered after two conflicting versions of the cause of his death emerged.
One version claimed he was hit by a vehicle, while the other said he was beaten by a mob.
During the inquest, the court heard testimony among others, from experts on whether Adib's injuries were from being beaten, or from the impact of a vehicle.
Experts also gave differing views on whether Adib could have possibly died from being hit by the Emergency Medical Rescue Service (EMRS) van he was in which could have caused his death.
Besides experts, the court also heard testimony from witnesses at the scene of the riot.
While inquests are set up to determine the cause of death and those who may have been involved in the incident, the magistrate in charge can't make findings on whether anyone is criminally liable for the death.
That will be up to the Attorney-General's Chambers, based on the Coroner Court's findings.
