Cheras police said the suspect, who is in his mid-20s, confessed to making a video recording of a man in an adjoining cubicle.

PETALING JAYA: Police have arrested a Chinese national for secretly making a video recording of a man in an adjoining toilet cubicle at a shopping mall in Bukit Jalil.
Cheras police chief Rosdi Daud said the arrest was made on Thursday after the victim lodged a report, and a mobile phone believed to belong to the suspect was seized.
Rosdi said the victim was using the men’s toilet on the fourth floor of the mall at about 11am when he realised a man in the next cubicle was recording him with a mobile phone.
He said checks on the phone found several pornographic videos in the image gallery. “The suspect, who is in his mid-20s, confessed to the incident,” he said in a statement today.
The suspect has been remanded for a week to assist in investigations. - FMT
