The position had been vacant following Wan Shaharuddin Wan Ladin’s transfer to the Attorney-General’s Chambers three months ago.

PUTRAJAYA: Saiful Hazmi Saad has been appointed director of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission’s legal and prosecution division effective today.
He replaces Wan Shaharuddin Wan Ladin, who was appointed deputy head of the trial and appellate division at the Attorney-General’s Chambers, effective March 2.
Saiful, 56, was previously the deputy head of the prosecution division at the AGC.
A transfer order dated May 20 and signed by Attorney-General Dusuki Mokhtar, sighted by FMT, stated that Saiful would assume his new position today.
Saiful previously served as a deputy public prosecutor in Kuala Lumpur and Kelantan, as well as with the Anti-Corruption Agency, which has been known as MACC since 2009. - FMT
