Selangor police chief Datuk Shazeli Kahar said the men, aged between 23 and 46, were being sought to assist investigations into separate incidents in Alam Megah on Aug 25 and Taman Sri Muda on Aug 14.
He said a 23-year-old man died in the group fight in Alam Megah and was found to have six previous records involving drug offences.
"In the Taman Sri Muda case, a man was seriously injured after being attacked by two men using machetes and threatened in a group fight involving sharp weapons or objects resembling firearms," he said at a press conference at the Selangor police contingent headquarters here today.
Shazeli said police had arrested 21 men, aged between 23 and 46, in a series of raids and arrests in Shah Alam, Klang, Muar and Iskandar Puteri, Johor, between Aug 14 and 28.
"Checks on their records found that several of those detained had various previous criminal and drug-related records," he said.
Meanwhile, Shazeli said police did not rule out the possibility that the suspects in the two cases were linked to gangsterism, although the groups involved were not the same.
He urged anyone with information on the 10 suspects still at large in connection with the two cases to come forward and assist investigations.
He said the Alam Megah case was being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code, while the Taman Sri Muda case was being investigated under Section 148 of the Penal Code. - NST
