‘ANWAR SODOMIZED MY NEPHEW’: COWARDLY HUSNI TOLD TO REPEAT HIS SHOCK CLAIM OUTSIDE PARLAIMENT

KUALA LUMPUR – Tambun MP Ahmad Husni Mohamad Hanadzlah was today challenged to repeat, outside the Dewan Rakyat, his claim that his nephew was sodomised by Anwar Ibrahim.
Johari Abdul (PKR-Sungai Petani) said in the lower house today that Husni and his nephew should lodge a police report if it was true that the latter was sodomised by the PKR de facto leader.
“I challenge Tambun to make this statement outside, that your nephew, Hairani Nafis, was sodomised by Anwar Ibrahim.
“I would like to ask our friends to lodge a qazaf (wrongful accusation) complaint. If Husni cannot prove that Anwar sodomised Hairani, we will take action against him,” he said.
Husni, who was formerly second finance minister, last week criticised former prime minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad and former deputy prime minister Muhyiddin Yassin.
He also spoke of why he no longer believed in Anwar’s struggle.
“Do you know who Dr Mahathir is? I do. I (was) the second finance minister. I knew what happened when Pos Malaysia was bought, at Perwaja. I know.
“You know who Muhyiddin is? You don’t know, but I know. Do you know who is Anwar Ibrahim? I was Anwar Ibrahim’s man, I left him.
“After he resigned as deputy prime minister, I helped him. We went to Bukit Damansara. When he was involved in sodomy. He was involved with my ‘anak buah’. We all cried, I went to Jordan,” he said last week.
Johari said Husni’s insults against his former bosses were unacceptable.
“Last week, he (Husni) made a U-turn to support Pekan (Prime Minister Najib Razak) and the government. That is okay. It is normal.
“But then he insulted and uttered curse words against Mahathir, Muhyiddin and said Anwar is a ‘kaki liwat’.
“If he wants to U-turn, then do so. If he wants to support (the PM), then do it. But to try and get your position back by slamming your friends, that is not nice.”
Johari said it was also unfair for Husni to make accusations against Anwar as the latter was in jail and unable to defend himself.
“Anwar is in jail. He is suffering from injuries from an accident. He is waiting to undergo surgery and he is taking painkillers.
“This is the Dewan Rakyat. There must be decorum. What Husni said was too much, and I would like to ask him to think back and stick to his stand (beristiqammah).”
At a press conference later, Anwar’s wife, Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, said it was not fair for someone of Husni’s level to make such remarks.
“This concerns my family. We have gone through this for 20 years.
“He is being rude. A man who talks about being religious, but goes to that extent,” she said, adding that Husni’s accusations were defamatory.
