'Enticement': Cops to submit probe papers for third time

Investigation papers into allegations concerning the allegation that MACC chief Dzulkifli Ahmad had enticed a married woman, will be submitted to the attorney-general's chambers for the third time.
"We have investigated (the claim), I have said it many times.
"We have submitted the papers on Oct 17 and Oct 30 and we have many follow-up steps to take before we re-submit the papers," inspector-general of police Mohamad Fuzi Harun told reporters in a press conference in Cheras today.
'We know how to do our job'
Asked whether police have taken Dzulkifli's statement on the matter, Fuzi said they have taken the necessary action.
"We know how to do our job. We have taken action, don't worry. I have mentioned this many times," he added.
The extramarital affair allegation concerning Dzulkifli had first emerged in a video on social media. A businessperson had lodged a police report over the video, urging an investigation.
It is considered an offence under Malaysian law to entice a married woman.

Meanwhile, Fuzi (photo) also confirmed that investigation papers concerning blogger Raja Petra Kamarudin will be submitted to the Attorney-General's Chambers soon.
Police had recorded the blogger's statement following a police report lodged by Attorney-General Mohamed Apandi Ali who claimed the blogger had defamed him.
Raja Petra’s statement was taken in the UK on Wednesday by an investigating team comprising three police officers from the Bukit Aman police headquarters.
The case is being investigated under Section 500 of the Penal Code for defamation and under the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998.- Mkini
