PAS plans thanksgiving event at disputed Amanah HQ in Kelantan

PAS plans to press ahead with a thanksgiving ceremony at the disputed Amanah headquarters in Kota Bharu tomorrow night.
"God-willing, the programme will go ahead," Kelantan PAS deputy commissioner Mohd Amar Nik Abdullah, also is also Kelantan deputy menteri besar, told a press conference in Kota Bharu.
Apart from Amanah's headquarters, the Wisma Tok Guru also hosts Salor assemblyperson Husam Musa's office, which had been the case since he was in PAS.

Husam was sacked from PAS in 2016 and subsequently joined Amanah and turned the building into Amanah's headquarters in Kelantan.
PAS, which perceived the move as a "theft" of its property, had proceeded to purchase the land on which the building sat on, for RM700,000.
The sale was made possible by the family of the late former Salor assemblyperson Ahmad Rosli Ibrahim, who owned the land.
Ahmad, while he was alive, had allowed Husam to use the land for his activities.
Ahmad had also rebutted PAS' claim that Amanah had stolen its property, pointing out that his leasing of the land was to Husam and not to PAS.
However, PAS now said it is the new legal owner of the land and wants its splinter party Amanah to vacate it.
Amanah today sought an injunction against the eviction order at the Kota Bharu High Court which was attended by both PAS and Amanah supporters.
A decision is expected tomorrow, hours before PAS' planned thanksgiving event at the disputed property. Should the injunction be granted, the ceremony will not proceed. - Mkini
