PETALING JAYA: A 39-year-old woman has been handed a 150-year jail sentence for prostituting two of her daughters, aged 10 and 13, to Bangladeshi men for RM50 a session.
The single mother pleaded guilty to 10 charges in Johor Bahru today – five charges for each daughter, The Star reported.
According to the charges, the woman forced her daughters to have sex with two men at a budget hotel in Larkin Perdana on Oct 1, Oct 4, Oct 5, Oct 6 and Oct 7.
Although she was said to have charged RM50 per session, she sometimes collected as little as RM1, the report said.
She also watched as her daughters conducted the acts.
She was arrested on Oct 25 at her home in Taman Bintang, Senai.
The woman, who has two other children aged four and five years old, pleaded for just a fine.
However, sessions judge Kamarudin Kamsun sentenced her to 15 years in jail for each of the 10 charges.
According to the daily, the sentences will run concurrently for charges with the same dates, meaning that the woman will spend 75 years in jail. -FMT
