Investors from China continue to believe in Malaysia’s prudent economic policies and see the county as a great destination to invest in, said Embassy of China’s Second Secretary Dr Fang Tao.
He said there was no slowdown in the investments despite the cautious measures undertaken by the Chinese investors.
“Many companies, both from Malaysia and China, asked us for investment suggestions in terms of the sectors to invest and so on. The consultations are also still on,” he told reporters on the sidelines of the Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers Supply Chain Conference 2018 in Kuala Lumpur today.
Also present was caretaker ministry of international trade and Industry deputy secretary general Isham Ishak.
