DAP Is Anti-Islam And That Is Not Fake News

Can you see how DAP played with Islam in 1999, 2001, 2008 and 2015? DAP is anti-Islam and that is not fake news. The fact that DAP has been playing with Islam for 20 years makes it even worse. Not only is DAP anti-Islam, they are also using Islam to win votes. And that is worse than being anti-Islam.

THE CORRIDORS OF POWER
Raja Petra Kamarudin
Some say Malaysia should not have fake news laws because that curtails freedom of expression and violates democracy. Some say it is okay to have fake news laws but then who defines or determines what constitutes fake news? People like Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad once told Malaysians that Malaysia cannot have western-style democracy and absolute freedom of speech because of Malaysia’s delicate racial balance (and to avoid another ‘May 13’) so we must have ‘guided-democracy’ (meaning control what you say), a terminology that Singapore’s Lee Kuan Yew invented.
So, as in all things, there are many differing opinions. And, as they say, in a liberal society we are all entitled to our own and differing opinions.
That may be so in a proper liberal society. But then there is no such thing as a true liberal society anywhere in the world. Even France, which allows insulting cartoons of Prophet Muhammad, draws the line when it comes to insulting Jews or disputing ‘The Holocaust. In Germany, Nazism and all symbols of Nazism are banned and if you say that arithmetically it is impossible to gas six million Jews in that short timeframe and using such primitive gas-chambers you will be arrested and jailed.

This type of freedom of expression is a crime in many ‘liberal societies’

So, France, Germany and many other so-called liberal societies are not really 100% liberal. They still forbid certain things. Try wearing an Osama Bin Laden T-shirt and openly demonstrate your support for ISIS and see what happens to you. What happened to your freedom of expression? You can only express what they allow you to express and not what they forbid you from expressing. So, freedom of expression is not 100% but subject to censorship.
Judaism, Christianity and Islam allow kids of 11-13 to marry once they reach puberty. Judaism, Christianity and Islam also allow slavery. But try marrying a 13-year-old girl and bring in slaves to do your housework and see what they will do to you, even in Malaysia. What about your right to practice your religious beliefs? Those rights do not exist and you have to follow secular laws and not religious laws. And they will argue that we live in a modern world so child marriages and slavery cannot be allowed.

Pakatan Harapan supports liberalism but remains silent on gay unions

If we now live in a modern world and old religious laws can no longer be applied, why confine it only to child marriages and slavery? What about legalising gay marriages? What about legalising apostasy? Why must Muslims remain Muslims just because of accident of birth? What if you think God does not exist and religion is nonsense? Can you become an atheist?
Don’t talk about Malaysia. Even in the UK if you announce you are an atheist, or you are gay, or you are anti-Jew, you will never be allowed to become the Prime Minister. So much for the so-called liberal society of the United Kingdom. In short, there is no such thing as 100% liberalism and freedom of expression. So those anti-fake news law activists are delusional and merely fooling themselves.
And that brings us back to the opening question. Who defines or determines what constitutes fake news?

More than six billion people will call this FAKE NEWS

Well, fake news is subjective and it depends on who you are. For example, if you were to say or write that ‘Jesus is the Son of God and that he died on the cross and came back to life three days later’ I would call that fake news. And if you disagree with me I will show you the Qur’an as proof that the statement ‘Jesus is the Son of God and that he died on the cross and came back to life three days later’ is fake news. And I will also tell you: the story that ‘Jesus is the Son of God and that he died on the cross and came back to life three days later’ was fabricated by humans while the Qur’an came from God.
Can you see how the definition or interpretation of fake news depends entirely on your belief system? I say DAP is anti-Islam. You say that is fake news and not true. But I believe DAP is anti-Islam and there is nothing you can say to convince me otherwise. And this is the reason why.
It was the late Nik Aziz Nik Mat, when he was the Kelantan Menteri Besar, who tabled the Sharia Amendment Bill in the Kelantan State Assembly in 1993. In 1999, DAP agreed to join the opposition coalition, Barisan Alternatif, in spite of the 1993 Sharia Amendment Bill. Why did DAP not oppose the 1993 Sharia Amendment Bill in 1999 and instead went into partnership with PAS?

Chinese support PAS in spite of Kelantan’s 1993 Sharia Amendment Bill as long as it benefits DAP and it gains votes for DAP

In November 1999, Lim Kit Siang and Karpal Singh were punished by the Penang voters for forming an alliance with PAS so in 2001 DAP left the coalition.
In 2008, DAP again agreed to form a coalition with PAS after leaving the coalition in 2001 and after condemning PAS — in spite of the 1993 Sharia Amendment Bill. Then, in 2015, DAP again left the coalition and announced that Pakatan Rakyat no longer exists. And they blamed Kelantan’s 1993 Sharia Amendment Bill (a.k.a. RUU355) for announcing that Pakatan Rakyat no longer exists.
