I refer to the Malaysiakini report MIC: Indian support for BN now highest among all.
The ongoing public spat between MIC and myPPP over the Cameron Highlands seat exposes the real and ugly truth about MIC.
While it's president Dr S Subramaniam (above) is trumpeting that its party members will deliver the votes for Najib Abdul Razak, I also wonder why then he is chickening out from taking the bull by the horns.
MIC's sudden and persistent claim to the Cameron Highlands seat when it knows too well that the groundswell of locals there has welcomed M Kayveas over the past four years smells rotten.
Something is not right within MIC. Why can't Subramaniam take on the challenge and field his macho youth leader in Segambut?
If your party has an 85 percent support, why are you fighting over a small area i.e. Cameron Highlands?
If your party is mighty big, don't you think you should march forward to help BN win more challenging seats like Segambut?
If you claim to be more loyal to BN, why are you not working in tandem with other BN component parties like myPPP but instead attempting to pull the very rug from under Kayveas feet?
These are some of the many thoughts and feelings that are being shared among various segments of society - believe it or not.
And Najib should not be shielded from honest feedback from concerned citizens willing to provide feedback through the media, like this “Letter to the Editor”.
And if MIC cannot filter and feel the very pulse of anger especially among the people of Cameron Highlands, then we have the categorical duty to make this public through the various media that are still committed to communicating the truth to the public. -Mkini
