The Pulai Umno chief says the opposition is only interested to win the polls, but not to serve.
JOHOR BAHRU: The opposition’s tactic of fielding “heavyweight” and “nomadic” candidates at the coming polls is dishonest and aimed at confusing the people, says Pulai Umno division chief, Nur Jazlan Mohamed.
He said the tactic did not take into consideration the candidates’ ability to serve the people.
“This is the attitude of the opposition’s nomadic candidates. He or she is not contesting to serve the people but merely to win and take over the government.
“On the other hand, Barisan Nasional will prove to the people first that we are able to serve them, only then will we form a government,” he told reporters after officiating a programme here.
On the opposition’s efforts to get voters outside their polling areas to return to cast their vote, Nur Jazlan said it was only for the sake of winning the election. -FMT
