They defeated world No 1 Korean pair Kim Won Ho-Seo Seung Jae at the World Tour Super 1000 championships semi-final.

Displaying newfound confidence, the world No 8 Malaysian pair beat South Korea’s defending champions and world No 1 duo Kim Won Ho-Seo Seung Jae in the semi-finals of the Indonesia Open at the Istora Senayan today.
Sze Fei-Izzuddin won 21-18, 17-21, 21-16 in 55 minutes against the Korean pair who were champions at the All England Open, Badminton Asia Championships and Malaysia Open this year.
The two pairs have each won twice in their four encounters so far.
In the final tomorrow, the Malaysians will take on the winners of the all-Indonesian semi-final clash between Sabar Karyaman Gutama-Reza Pahlevi Isfahani and Raymond Indra-Jaoquin Nikolaus.

Sze Fei-Izzuddin are gunning for their second title this year after having won the Indonesia Masters crown at the same venue in January. They were runners-up at the Malaysia Masters last month.
They will be hoping to bring back the men’s doubles title which was last won by a Malaysian pair in 2008 when Zakry Abdul Latif-Fairuzizuan Tazari lifted the crown.
Winners in all doubles categories will take home a prize money of US$107,300 (RM432,476) while the runners-up pocket US$50,750 (RM204,562). The semi-finalists win US$20,300 (RM81,825). - FMT
