KUALA LUMPUR: A total of 22 flights going in and out of Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) and klia2, involving Lombok and Bali routes, have been cancelled today due to the volcano eruption of Mount Agung in Bali, Indonesia.
In a statement today, Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB) said the list of cancelled flights arriving in KLIA were Malaysia Airlines MH714, MH850, MH852, Malindo Air OD325, OD158 and OD305, while flights departing KLIA were MH715, MH851, MH853, OD324, OD306, OD157 as well as Batik Air ID6017.
AirAsia cancelled nine of its flights flying to and from klia2, namely AK309, AK377, AK307 and AK379, AK308, AK376, AK306, AK378 and AK374, it said.
On the large crowd and long queues at KLIA and klia2 during the past few days, MAHB general manager, Mohd Arif Jaafar, advised travellers to arrive a few hours prior to their boarding time to avoid any delay.

”MAHB is working with the relevant authorities to ensure the passengers’ trips are smooth,” he said. -FMT
