KUALA LUMPUR – The Opposition will not be able to do any better in the upcoming general election compared to the last, says Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, adding that even if it did, it would not be able to form the government.

“Tell the Chinese community that DAP cannot form the Government. Don’t waste your time on the other side,” said the Barisan Nasional chairman to MCA delegates at the party’s 64th annual general meeting at Wisma MCA here on Sunday.

Najib, who is also Prime Minister, added that he was happy with the turnout of the MCA delegates and their high spirits ahead of the general election and said that he hoped that there would be a “spillover” of this enthusiasm beyond the AGM.

He told the delegates to remain high-spirited and to work hard to ensure a bigger win for Barisan during the polls.
