New scheme to be launched this month on 18 hectares of state land near Sendayan air base.
SEREMBAN: A new housing project with 350 terrace houses for Negeri Sembilan civil servants will be launched on April 26.
The menteri besar, Mohamad Hasan, announced the scheme, the 13th to be carried out by the PPA1M public services housing programme.
Under the PPA1M programme, a total of 10,000 houses were either being built or had been completed.
The new scheme of single-story and double-storey terrace houses will be coming up on 18.2 hectares of state-owned land in Bandar Baru Seri Sendayan, near the Sendayan air base.
PPA1M projects are aimed at public servants, especially low and middle income earners, and also available in Nilai, Port Dickson and Jelebu.
Hasan made the announcement at the opening of a five-day housing expo by PR1MA, the 1Malaysia People’s Housing scheme.
Its chief executive officer, Abdul Mutalib Alia, said 21,000 houses, 84% of them were priced below RM300,000 were on offer, in Port Dickson, Seremban Sentral, Rantau, Senawang, Seremban Utara, Pedas and Kuala Pilah. - FMT
