An autopsy found that the 83-year-old victim suffered skull fractures and internal bleeding caused by blunt trauma to the head.

PETALING JAYA: Police have arrested one person in a murder investigation after an elderly woman died from severe head injuries in Kota Bharu, Kelantan.
Kelantan police chief Yusoff Mamat said the 83-year-old victim was brought to a clinic by a family member on Monday after suffering head injuries.
She was referred to Hospital Raja Perempuan Zainab II, where she was admitted, and died at yesterday evening while being treated, Berita Harian reported.
“An autopsy found that the cause of death was blunt trauma to the head which caused skull fractures and internal bleeding.
“Following her death, one person was arrested to assist with the investigation,” said Yusoff. - FMT
