KUALA LUMPUR: The High Commission of Malaysia in New Delhi has issued a travel advisory requiring Malaysians travelling to India to apply for and submit a mandatory e-Arrival Card at least 72 hours before departure.
According to an announcement posted on the High Commission’s social media accounts, the requirement applies to all Malaysian citizens, including Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) cardholders.
The e-Arrival Card application can be submitted online via the Indian government portal at indianvisaonline.gov.in/earrival/.
Travellers are also advised to keep a digital or printed copy of their e-Arrival confirmation, while noting that the requirement is in addition to valid visa and travel documents.
The High Commission urged Malaysians to check the latest travel regulations before their trip and refer to the relevant Indian authorities for updated guidelines.- Bernama
