The BN deputy chairman says the coalition will not be cooperating with PH at the Negeri Sembilan election.

Without disclosing the specific parties, Mohamad confirmed that BN will not contest for all 36 state seats that will be up for grabs.
This adds fuel to speculation that BN is set to form an alliance with Perikatan Nasional components like PAS and opposition leader Hamzah Zainudin’s Parti Wawasan Negara.
“We will enter the Negeri Sembilan state election with an understanding with ‘friends’. But don’t worry, we will not reach an understanding with Linggi,” he said, in reference to the seat that menteri besar Aminuddin Harun is set to contest.
“We will only form an understanding with friends we can trust,” said Mohamad at the unveiling of BN’s candidates for the state election.
Earlier, Mohamad announced that the coalition will field 25 candidates in the state polls, comprising 16 from Umno, seven from MCA and two from MIC.
Nineteen seats are needed to form a simple majority. - FMT
