Commercial crime investigation department director Rusdi Isa says 127 people have had their statements recorded, and more will be called soon.

CCID director Rusdi Isa said 127 people have had their statements recorded to assist in the investigations.
“Several more will be called, including witnesses from overseas,” he said in a statement today.
Rusdi said the investigations are being conducted under several laws, including the Penal Code, the Tabung Haji Act 1995, the Companies Act 1965, and the Anti-Money Laundering, Anti-Terrorism Financing and Proceeds of Unlawful Activities Act 2001.
He said police remain committed to ensuring that all investigations are conducted independently, transparently and professionally in accordance with the law.
He also urged the public not to speculate or disseminate unverified information regarding the matter. - FMT
