Replacing damaged or lost passports will cost RM550 the first time, RM850 the second time, and RM1,350 for subsequent replacements.

The gazette, signed by Chief Secretary Shamsul Azri Abu Bakar, said those aged 60 and above would only be charged RM175.
Passports are issued free of charge for those who hold persons with disabilities (PWD) cards.
Malaysians are currently charged RM200 for a passport with a five-year validity, while senior citizens pay RM100.
The gazette also outlined the fees for replacing damaged or lost passports, including RM550 for the first replacement for citizens aged 13 to 59, up from RM400 previously.
A second replacement will cost RM850 and subsequent replacements will incur a fee of RM1,350.
For senior citizens, the first replacement will cost RM375, the second RM675, and subsequent replacements RM1,175.
PWD cardholders will be charged RM200 for first replacements, RM500 for second replacements, and RM1,000 for subsequent replacements. - FMT
