PETALING JAYA: Police have arrested eight people in connection with the “closure” of a section of the Malaysia-Singapore Second Link (Linkedua) to hold an illegal motorcycle race.
Kulai police chief Tan Seng Lee said the suspects, aged between 26 and 45, will be remanded tomorrow, Sinar Harian reported.
Tan said that police were also tracking down other witnesses at the scene and identifying those involved in the incident.
The probe follows a 30-second video, which has since gone viral, featuring a a group of people blocking other motorists on the highway to facilitate the race. - FMT
