Idrus Ibrahim was a former headmaster of SRK Stowell.
PETALING JAYA: Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim’s eldest brother, Idrus Ibrahim, has passed away.
In a social media post, Anwar said he was deeply saddened that he could not be by his brother’s side in his final moments.
Anwar said he received the news while on his way back to Malaysia from China.
“Yet, I have come to accept it, even though my heart is still trying to come to terms with a goodbye we were never prepared for.
“Thanks for all the memories which will remain in our hearts.”
Anwar also uploaded a picture of him embracing Idrus.
Idrus was a former headmaster of SRK Stowell in Bukit Mertajam, Penang. - FMT
