PETALING JAYA: A YouTuber and football critic suffered a fractured eye socket and other injuries after being attacked by two unidentified men at a petrol station near Bandar Sri Damansara last Saturday.
Petaling Jaya police chief Shamsudin Mamat said police received a report on the incident at 7.56pm the same day.
He said preliminary investigations revealed that the victim, who is in his 40s, was approached by two men on a motorcycle while he was about to inflate his vehicle’s tyres.
“The suspects beat the victim repeatedly and recorded a video before fleeing the scene,” Bernama reported him as saying today.
Shamsudin said the motive is still under investigation and efforts to track down the suspects are under way.
