The court is set to deliver its ruling on the prosecution's final appeal against his acquittal on four charges involving criminal breach of trust, misappropriation of property and money laundering linked to Bersatu Youth funds.
In a video message shared on Facebook, Syed Saddiq said he respects the judicial process and will accept the outcome with calm and composure.
"I will not preempt the court. I respect the process. I will appear (in court) calmly," he said.
Reflecting on the legal proceedings, Syed Saddiq said he has gone through the process for more than six years, attending court whenever required without seeking postponements, shortcuts or special treatment.
He said he chose to defend himself through the courts.
"This is because the truth must be tested by evidence and justice must be upheld through the rule of law, not through power."
He described leadership as being tested during moments of hardship rather than comfort.
"True leadership is measured when our future and our freedom are at stake, yet we still choose the path of what is right over the path of vengeance."
Syed Saddiq also urged the people of Muar and Malaysians not to pray only for him, but for the country's justice system.
"Pray that Malaysia remains a nation where the law protects everyone; friend or foe, those in power or ordinary citizens alike," he said.
He concluded the message by saying he had done all he could and would leave the rest to Allah.
"The truth does not need power to stand. In Allah I place my trust."
Tomorrow, a three‑member bench led by Court of Appeal President Datuk Seri Abu Bakar Jais, with Datuk Che Mohd Ruzima Ghazali and Datuk Collin Lawrence Sequerah, is scheduled to deliver judgment at 9am.
The ruling, initially fixed for June 30, was postponed after Che Ruzima went on medical leave. The appeal was heard over two days, with submissions concluded on Dec 12, 2025.
On June 25, 2025, the Court of Appeal acquitted and discharged Syed Saddiq, 33, after allowing his appeal against the High Court's Nov 9, 2023, conviction and sentence of seven years' jail, two strokes of the cane and a RM10 million fine.
Syed Saddiq was accused of abetting Bersatu Youth assistant treasurer Rafiq Hakim Razali in committing CBT involving RM1 million at CIMB Bank, KL Sentral, on March 6, 2020.
