A female student was injured after she was stabbed by a woman at a school in Banting today.
Bernama reported that Kuala Langat district police chief Akmalrizal Radzi confirmed the incident, adding that the victim is in a stable condition and that further details would be shared soon.
A video of the incident, showing the alleged perpetrator chasing a female student, has gone viral on Threads.
Another video showed students scrambling as the alleged perpetrator moved through the school while carrying what appeared to be a weapon.
Last year, a Form Four girl died after another student stabbed her at a school in Bandar Utama, Petaling Jaya.

An assistant director of the Royal Malaysian Customs Department pleaded not guilty in the Sessions Court today to a charge of receiving RM15,000 in bribes last month.
Bernama reported that Fareez Akmal Yusuf, 38, was accused of receiving the amount in cash from a 50-year-old man as an inducement to close an investigation he was handling.
He allegedly committed the offence at a car park in the Petaling district on June 6, under Section 17(a) of the MACC Act 2009, punishable under Section 24(1) of the same Act.
The accused faces a maximum prison sentence of 20 years and a fine of not less than five times the value of the bribe or RM10,000, whichever is higher.
