This may affect voter turnout, especially if the bad weather persists.

PETALING JAYA: Parts of Johor will experience thunderstorms until noon, possibly affecting voter turnout if the bad weather persists.
The meteorological department said Tangkak, Muar, Batu Pahat, Pontian, Kulai and Johor Bahru are expected to experience strong winds and heavy rain from 10am to noon.
Voters in Muar had to arm themselves with umbrellas and brave heavy rain when they went out to vote early this morning.
The Election Commission said the voter turnout in the Johor polls stood at 7.97% as of 9am. It had forecast a final turnout of 70%.
All polling centres across the 56 state constituencies will close by 6pm. - FMT
