Police say the victim died from multiple blunt-force injuries to the body.

Petaling Jaya police chief Shamsudin Mamat said the suspects, in their 20s and 30s, were detained after police received a report at about 11.25pm.
“Upon arrival at the scene, police found the victim, in his 30s, dead. A preliminary examination revealed injuries on the body.
“Police also seized several pieces of evidence at the scene,” he said in a statement today.
A post-mortem conducted at the University Malaya Medical Centre yesterday found that the victim died from severe injuries caused by multiple blunt-force impacts to the body, Shamsudin said.
He said background checks showed both suspects had records for criminal offences. They have been remanded for seven days until July 16.
Shamsudin said police are tracking down other suspects believed to be involved.
He said the motive for the killing is still being established, and the case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder. - FMT
