The 11-year-old was reported missing on Monday.

Acting Kota Kinabalu police chief Syed Lot Syed Ab Rahman said a member of the public discovered the victim’s body last night in some bushes near a partially completed house in Kampung Numbak, Sepanggar.
“The victim was later identified by her mother based on the clothes the victim was wearing when she was reported missing,” he said in a statement.
He added that forensic experts believe the victim died from blunt force trauma to the head.
“Following investigations, two men aged 39 and 42, were arrested to assist in the investigation. Both will be remanded tomorrow,” he said.
Police are probing the case as murder. The motive is still under investigation.
According to Bernama, the victim was 11-year-old Nurjilya Abdullah. -FMT
