Sabah and Sarawak affairs minister Mustapha Sakmud says the government will always listen to the people's concerns.

The Sabah and Sarawak affairs minister said the government would continue to engage stakeholders as well as state and federal agencies to ensure the smooth implementation of the initiative without disruptions to consumers, particularly those living in rural areas, Bernama reported.
Mustapha said Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim also took time to personally listen to public feedback on the challenges faced in implementing the BUDI Diesel initiative in Sabah.
“The government will always listen to the concerns of the people, whether in urban or rural areas,” he was quoted as saying.
The BUDI Diesel initiative was implemented nationwide from July 1, with eligible private diesel vehicle owners receiving a basic quota of 200 litres per month at the subsidised price of RM2.10 per litre.
Owners of eligible sports utility vehicles and pickup trucks may apply for an additional 100 litres per month. - FMT
