KUALA LUMPUR: Facebook is now back to normal and fully accessible after experiencing a major service disruption earlier on Sunday (July 19) afternoon.
A check found that the social media platform is now operating as usual on all devices, including computers, allowing users to log in and use its main functions without any disruptions.
A user, @MadameSeniorita, expressed relief after finding that Facebook was accessible again and shared the update on other social media platforms.
"Facebook is back!!!" YEHEY!!!," the user said in a post on the X app today.
Meanwhile, The Mirror, a news portal and tabloid newspaper in the United Kingdom, also announced through a Facebook post that the platform has been restored.
Earlier on Sunday, Facebook was reported to have experienced technical difficulties, causing users worldwide, including in Malaysia, to face difficulties accessing accounts, uploading photos and videos, and sending messages through the Messenger app. – Bernama
