The incident in Sik involved a trailer lorry, a van and an SUV.

In the 8am incident, the driver of a van died after a trailer lorry was believed to have lost control and crashed into it.
An SUV, carrying Norasima Nowar, the wife of former Belantik assemblyman Tajuddin Abdullah, then crashed into the lorry.
Norasima and the driver suffered light injuries. The lorry driver was unhurt.
Kedah fire and rescue department operations division assistant director Azhar Mohamad said the department received a call about the incident at 8.20am, Kosmos reported.
Azhar said Norasima and her driver were removed from the SUV by members of the public before the firefighters arrived. They received treatment by emergency medical personnel before being taken to Sik Hospital.
He said the firefighters used special equipment to extricate the van driver, who was trapped in his vehicle.
The victim was confirmed dead at the scene by health ministry personnel, and his body was handed over to police for further action, he said. - FMT
