In the 16-second clip uploaded on the DashCam Malaysia Facebook group, the group of motorcyclists can be seen ignoring the safety of other road users travelling from the opposite direction.
It is believed that the incident took place in Terengganu, although the exact location, date and time of the incident could not be verified as of press time.
Several users criticised the motorcyclists' actions, saying such behaviour could put other road users at risk and burden emergency responders if an accident occurred.
"Who would be at fault (if an untoward accident happened)? If anything happened, you would only trouble people in KKM (Health Ministry)," a user commented.
Another user questioned whether enforcement action would be taken against such road offences.
"Lawless state? Who can uphold the law?" user Lim Sg commented.
Meanwhile, another user, Mo Iedil, described the actions as a reflection of poor road discipline and mentality.
The video surfaced amid heightened public attention over road safety following several accidents, including fatal crashes, involving some motorcyclists travelling to and from the RXZ Members 8.0 gathering. - NST
