He invites his former Bersatu colleagues to join Wawasan, saying the nation's politics needs a more stable and visionary political platform.
Wan Saiful, a former Bersatu Supreme Council member, said the Muhyiddin Yassin-led party was losing its direction.
“To all my friends in Bersatu, our door remains open. It is time for all of you to make the bold decision — let us move together with Wawasan.
“Do not let your struggle sink with a ship that is already taking in water. The future of the nation’s politics requires a new platform that is more stable and visionary,” he said in a statement.
Wawasan, led by former Bersatu deputy president Hamzah Zainudin, won the Gemas, Klawang and Sikamat seats in its maiden election outing.

Meanwhile, Bersatu secretary-general Azmin Ali said the party would conduct a thorough review of today’s election results to identify steps to improve the party.
Azmin said Bersatu accepted the outcome of the election, adding that it was the first time the party had contested under its own logo.
“The results in Negeri Sembilan require Bersatu to take bold steps to improve internal discipline, work harder, and introduce change that can provide the best benefits for the people.
“Bersatu will also discuss the formation of a coalition of moderate and progressive parties to revitalise democracy in the country and create a brighter future,” he added.
Muhyiddin had previously hinted that Bersatu may leave Perikatan Nasional amid worsening ties with ally PAS.
He also announced that Bersatu would form a new coalition comprising parties such as Urimai and Putra. - FMT
