The suspects comprised seven Indonesians and a Malaysian woman believed to have held a position in the organisation.

PETALING JAYA: The Registrar of Societies arrested eight people, including seven Indonesians, in a raid on an unregistered society in Perai, Penang, last night.
RoS officers raided the premises at Taman Pelangi based on intelligence about the organisation known as Persatuan Anak Rantau Indonesia, which operated without being registered under the Societies Act 1966.
The eighth suspect was a Malaysian woman believed to have held a position in the organisation.
In a statement today, the RoS said its officers also confiscated items related to the organisation, such as documents, banners, membership cards and mobile phones.
The suspects have been remanded for four days. - FMT
