Parti Wawasan Negara president Hamzah Zainudin wants the understanding between Perikatan Nasional and BN for the Negeri Sembilan state election to be called Perikatan Barisan Nasional (PBN).

"We came up with this name so people will no longer be confused. Here in Negeri Sembilan, we are starting with Perikatan Barisan Nasional because people keep saying PN, BN, PN, BN.”
Asked whether PBN could eventually be formally registered, Hamzah said it was too early to make such a decision.
Berita Harian reported him as saying that the name was introduced to make it easier for the public to understand the cooperation between the two coalitions, while avoiding confusion caused by referring to PN and BN separately.
BN chairperson Ahmad Zahid Hamidi should not have suggested that Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim dismiss the coalition’s eight ministers if he was dissatisfied with them, said Negeri Sembilan Pakatan Harapan chief Aminuddin Harun.
The caretaker menteri besar said Zahid’s remark appeared to question the prime minister’s authority.

Negeri Sembilan Pakatan Harapan chief Aminuddin Harun “The remark, if indeed true, should not have come from a good friend of the prime minister,” Free Malaysia Today reported him saying while campaigning in Tanjung Agas, Linggi.
Aminuddin said Anwar's warning was simply intended to remind leaders not to allow election campaigning to undermine relations within the coalition government. - Mkini
