PETALING JAYA:
Bersatu has announced 24 candidates for the Negeri Sembilan state election on Aug 1, with the party set to clash with two Perikatan Nasional components in eight seats.

According to the list of candidates announced by party president Muhyiddin Yassin, Bersatu, which is still a PN component, will take on PAS in Serting, Ampangan, Paroi and Bagan Pinang.

Except for Ampangan, the three other seats were won by PAS in the 2023 state election.

Bersatu will also clash with opposition leader Hamzah Zainudin’s Parti Wawasan Negara in all four seats being contested by Wawasan – Klawang, Sikamat, Mambau and Gemas.
