Wangsa Maju police chief Annas Sulaiman says a car jack handle is believed to have been used in the incident.

Wangsa Maju police chief Annas Sulaiman said the 20-year-old Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman student lodged a police report after he was allegedly attacked with an iron weapon while waiting for a bus along Jalan Danau Saujana at about 11.30am.
Annas said a team from the Wangsa Maju police headquarters arrested the suspect by the roadside at Taman Setapak at about 10.55am today.
Police also seized a car jack handle believed to have been used in the attack, he said.
An application to remand the suspect would be made tomorrow to assist the investigation under Section 324 of the Penal Code for voluntarily causing hurt with a dangerous weapon.
The suspect is also being investigated under Section 6(1)(c) of the Immigration Act 1959/63 for allegedly not possessing valid travel documents.
Earlier today, a video circulating on social media showed a man dressed in black brandishing a bladed weapon before attacking another man dressed in white.
The man was seen repeatedly lunging at the victim with the weapon. - FMT
