
He said the noble values espoused by Prophet Muhammad should continue to guide Muslims in their daily lives towards building more harmonious families, communities and society.
"Let us commemorate the birth of the great Prophet Muhammad by reflecting on his struggles, sacrifices and compassion in guiding humanity.
"Love for the Prophet should not be expressed merely through words and selawat (prayers and salutations upon the Prophet), but should be reflected in our daily lives through good character, kind words, a willingness to forgive and concern for others," he said in a Facebook post today.
The 1448H/2026M National Maulidur Rasul celebration will be held at the Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Cultural and Arts Centre, Universiti Putra Malaysia, in Serdang tomorrow.
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and his wife Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail are scheduled to attend the event. - NST
